Welcome to AP Freewriting - a place of encouragement for women from the Word of God. My goal through this blog is to encourage and challenge you as you grow in your walk with the Lord.

We are all busy women, and we need to find some calm in the midst of the chaos of our lives. At AP Freewriting, I share from my own walk with the Lord through the chaos of my life, giving you a glimpse of the calm that can be found when you keep your focus on Him.

A little bit about me...

Faith:

I grew up in a Christian home.
I was saved at the age of 3, but really started to walk with the Lord around the age of 8 when I rededicated my life to Christ.
I'm currently seeking to grow daily in my walk with the Lord. Some days/weeks are better than others, but He is faithful to bring me ever closer to the image of His Son.

Family:

I'm a wife of 5+ years.
I'm a mom of two preschoolers - I homeschool my daughter who turned 4 at the beginning of January, and my son turned 2 at the end of September.

Education:

I have an Associate of Biblical Studies degree from New Tribes Bible Institute. {I also attended Cedarville University for two years before finishing at NTBI}.
I'm currently back in school to finish my BA and getting my MA in Ministry {with a focus on writing and teaching} through Baptist Bible Graduate School's online degree completion program.

Passion:

I *love* to encourage others! {Check out the 3 in 30 Challenge I co-founded, with the sole purpose of providing encouragement and accountability to others!}
I *love* to write and speak - my blog is my platform for writing and developing a speaking ministry.
I *love* social media! {I'm currently brainstorming a project to use social media to help churches better engage their members with the Word through the use of social media.}
