#3in30 Twitter Party & 10 Steps to Tweet Grid

I am SO excited about the #3in30 Twitter party tonight! I can't wait to chat with all of you and celebrate our successes from this month, as well as brainstorm our goals for next month!!

I know a lot of you are probably new to Twitter parties, so I thought I'd share a quick "how to" post with you, to help you get the most out of our party tonight.

{#1} You'll need a Twitter account. It only takes a few seconds to set one up, and it's completely free. If you like step-by-by instructions, Twitip.com has a great How to Set Up a Twitter Account tutorial.

{#2} You'll probably want to use a "party" service to be able to keep up (or at least keep up better) with the party tweets. The party tends to move fairly quickly, so I highly recommend using a service such as TweetGrid.com.

How to use TweetGrid:

1. I use a 1x3 grid - click on the 1x3 "yard sign" at TweetGrid.com.
2. Sign-in with your Twitter account on TweetGrid.
3. Type "#3in30" in the far left column and hit search.
4. Type "3n30 OR apichea OR meghantucker" in the middle column and hit search.
5. Type "@" followed by your user name in the far right column and hit search.
6. Type "#3in30" in the hashtag box.
7. This is where you'll type your tweets for the party - the number in parentheses on the right indicates how many characters you have available to use.
8. The columns will refresh themselves regularly. The left column is where all the tweets from the party will be. The middle column is where the hostesses will be. The right column is where any tweets to you will be.
9. If you hover over any tweet with your mouse, you'll have the option of "Replying" or "Retweeting" by clicking the appropriate arrow in this area.
10. Got questions? We'll try our best to help you out!

{#3}  Be sure to follow the hostesses - @3n30, @meghantucker, and @apichea - and include the hashtag "#3in30" in your tweets.
