Real Food Giveaway...
A few months ago, I was privileged to have the opportunity to guest post on Modern Alternative Mama's blog. Through this opportunity, I had the privilege of building a relationship with ModernAMama...
...and that relationship has dividends for YOU today! ModernAMama has gracious allowed me to giveaway a copy of her new real food basics cookbook, In the Kitchen, to one of you!
I'm still quite new, personally, to the idea of real food, but I'm definitely interested in learning more! Reading the introduction to In the Kitchen was a real eye-opener for me in terms of the food I eat and make for my family. This small snippet of overview was enough to catch my attention, changing the way I view food, and hopefully changing the way I eat food in the near future (once I have time to learn more and research how to go about doing it).My favorite thing, though, about this cookbook is the fact that the recipes in it are so basic and recognizable! Most of the recipes shared (i.e. fried chicken, tomato sauce, french fries, pizza dough, etc.) are made with ingredients I already have on hand - just in a healthier fashion and combination.
If you're interested in learning more about real food cooking, ModernAMama was gracious enough to give me a special coupon code to share with you that is good through 11/22.
Use the coupon code: "AP25" to save 25% the already incredible price of $6.95!!
Also, I will be giving away a copy of this cookbook, thanks to ModernAlternativeMama. Here's how to enter. (Each task is a separate entry - complete as many as you'd like and leave a comment for each task you complete or already have already done.):
- Leave me a comment letting me know what you think about real food - are you already eating real food? are you interested in real food?

I love real food! I've been on this journey for about seven years now. It's so eye-opening once you get into it. It's so much healthier (whoda thunk it, right?) it's just a much better way to live.
learning about real food has been a gradual process for us. i think it started when we began having our own garden, and it's grown from there. the more we delve into it, the more we enjoy it. i'd love a copy!

Hey, I'm working toward the same thing-- real, fresh foods; healthier carbs and fats; more and more veggies. So, I'm experimenting with recipes that call for interesting flavor pairings, herbs, Asian sauces, etc.
It seems that variety and seasoning are key, so you don't fall into the bland-pile-of-steamed-broccoli rut. (But I might as well confess right now, I doubt I'll ever completely give up my Coke or M&Ms.)
done done done.
need this in my kitchen.
i love organic, all-natural food.
i think that's what you mean about REAL food.

I'm stopping by from Robin's Mingle Monday and wow, it's my lucky day! I'm very interested in this real food eating program. I've heard of it but don't know a lot about it. I went over to Modern Alternative Mama to learn more and boy is it fascinating. I think I eat 'real food' most of the time but I've got a long way to go it seems.
I'm eager to check out your blog too b/c I'm always looking for ways to improve my writing. I did Problogger's 31DBBB program this summer and it was terrific (and I got to meet him just last month too!).
Thanks for linking up!
