A Christmas Prayer {@TommyNelson Review and #Giveaway}
It's time for another Tommy Nelson review and giveaway!This time, I thought I'd get my kids involved in the the review process... be sure to watch the whole video to see what Jenny and David thought of the book {their reviews are at the end}. And be sure to read the whole post to find out how you can win a copy of this book!
(For those viewing this post and don't see the video embedded below, be sure to visit the blog to watch the video.)
We loved this book!
- I loved the fact that it's a board book, which means I can let David read it on his own without worrying about the pages ripping!
- We loved the illustrations and fun details on each page.
- The rhyming nature of the story is one of our favorite styles of kids' books.
- We enjoyed the focus on the "greatest gift of all" versus the commercial-ness that can often take over the Christmas season.
I'm so thankful that Tommy Nelson has allowed me to share this book with you all! If you'd like to win a copy of this book to share with your family this holiday season, leave a comment below letting me know your favorite part of the Christmas season.

christmas eve. we have a tradition in our family to have a soup buffet, then all head to the christmas eve service. afterwards, we all pile in a vehicle and drive around and look at christmas lights, afterwards, we head to someone else's home for homemade hot cocoa, cookies, and merry christmas charlie brown!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions (we have many) actually features books. Every year we all open one gift on Christmas Eve - new PJs! Then the boys also get a new Christmas book which we read. I also like that we put our Christmas books away with the decorations. It makes them even more special when it's time to bring them out again.
I love our the candle light Christmas Eve service at our church.

My favorite part of the Christmas season is the day after Thanksgiving we put up our Christmas tree while old Christmas songs play in the background (we LOVE Bing Crosby).
We never do "black friday" shopping, we always spend that say as a family.

My all time favorite thing about Christmas is that I get to celebrate the birth of Christ!!! :)
Our family favorite activity is building a ginger bread house before our holiday meal on Christmas Eve. It is a great way for kids of all ages - including the husbands to get in on the family fun.
