I had a great time at Relevant this past weekend, and God is still working in my life, teaching me SO much. I think one of the best things about the weekend was that the focus was on me, not my blog. And, as such, the truths we learned this weekend can be applied to any "extra" in our lives.

Today, I just want to share a few quotes from the weekend - take a few minutes to reflect on them and apply them to your own life.

From Crystal Paine (MoneySavingMom.com)
  • "If you don't have time for God, you don't have time to {insert activity of choice}."
  • "Anyone can be a successful {insert status of choice}, but only one person can be wife to your husband and mother to your children."
  • "If you want to get concentrated work done in an efficient manner, you need to shut out all the noise and just focus on one thing at a time."
  • "There's no such thing as perfect balance." True balance is not spending exactly equal amounts of time on every facet of your life. Rather, it's making sure that, over the course of a few months, you are giving focused attention to every area of your life...
From Sally Clarkson (ITakeJoy.com)
  • "You don't have to be qualified to have a message."
  • "You can't give away what you don't possess in your heart."
  • This is not the pinnacle of your ministry. Today is about your family.
  • "You can't do everything." There is a cost to every commitment you make.
From Serena Woods (graceisforsinners.com)
  • Just because you know all of the rules, it doesn't mean you'll follow them.
  • If you hoard grace, you kill it.
These quotes are just a small snippet of the TRUTH that was spoken into our lives this past weekend. I can't wait to come to a point of digesting and processing at which I am able to put into words all that God is teaching me!

I *loved* how the focus of the weekend was on US, not on our blogs. This weekend might have been a "blogging conference" in name, but it was SOOO much more! Loved getting to meet you, too!

It sounds like it was a wonderful time! I believe that (and am so glad!) that even those who couldn't attend will be reaping the benefits for a while.

I love that about this conference - because it wasn't focused on the blogs but on the bloggers, we'll be able to share so much more with those who weren't able to be there!

It was an INCREDIBLE weekend. God was truly present! I am still processing so much of the Truth that was spoken into my life over the weekend, and I have a feeling I will be for quite awhile to come. Glad you were able to follow along on Twitter! :)
