Who & Why Wednesday: God is my GUIDE
Who is God? God is my GUIDE: Proverbs 3.5-6; 16.3, 9
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3.5-6Why do I care? Knowing that I can plan until I'm blue in the face, yet He already has my path determined, I need to seek Him before I seek to determine what I should/shouldn't do. Knowing Him and spending time with Him is the only way to be able to follow His leading. If I can't distinguish His voice from all the others, I'll end up walking in circles. I need to learn to listen to and follow my Leader!

Ain't it the truth, ain't it the truth? All that planning and then *poof*. I recently began starting my day with this little prayer (thank you Sheila Walsh!) "Good morning Father. I don't know where your going today but I'm happy to be going with you" I also ask for those I'll come in contact with to be blessed with compassion, gratitude, patience, health and happiness. Then I can face whatever the Lord puts in my path.
