Top 10 Things my Relevant Roomies should know about me...
The Relevant Conference is only three-and-a-half weeks away! So excited, but so nervous. I had my first airport nightmare this weekend.
In light of the upcoming conference, some of the gals attending the conference have started a link-up to share a bit about themselves with their roommates, and I thought I'd join in today.
I've never met any of my roommates, but that doesn't phase me. I tend to do well in situations with new people. I've enjoyed getting to know these ladies through their blogs and on Twitter, and I can't wait to meet them!
- Leslie at Goodbye, House! Hello, Home!
- Lisa at Simplified Saving
- Jenny at Southern Institute for Domestic Arts and Crafts
- I'm loud. Especially when I get tired and excited. Beware of my laughter!
- I'm tall. Without heels on, I'm just shy of 5'10, with heels, I tend to be closer to 6'.
- I'm outgoing, but it's just a front. In reality, I just want to be liked.
- I'm young. Unlike the majority of the conference goers in their mid-30s (I'm guessing), I'm a mere 26 years old.
- I'm a pretty causal dresser. My daily wardrobe at home consists of sweats and tshirts. I'll try to dress it up a bit for the conference - I usually try to at least look put together in public.
- I'm excited to leave my family at home. I haven't been away from my entire family overnight in a long time. It will be so nice not to have to worry about them for a weekend!
- I'm competitive. If there's a competition (even in jest), I'll probably go all out. That's just my nature. Can't wait for the game night fun!
- I'm a native Michigander. Though I live in Indiana currently, my heart resides in Michigan. We bleed Blue & Maize at our house.
- I'm a book-a-holic. If you haven't figured it out from all my book reviews, I *love* to read!
- I am so excited to room with you! I cannot wait to meet you all in person and to get to know you better. We are going to have a BLAST at Relevant and come home IRL friends!

I love this Ashley!!! I'm going to do one too... you'll just have to wait and see! I didn't really know what to blog about tomorrow so I just might sneak this in sometime tomorrow! I think we're going to have FUN!!
We really need to make it a point to connect at the conference so when we get home we can get together! Who knew I'd meet someone in my own backyard!!
(I'm short, like 5'2"--we'll be a pair. LOL)

I have been trying a few times here and there, the past weeks, to comment on your posts/follow-friend you-ugh!
Something's wrong with my computer, apparently, cuz, just now I moved over to my daughter's computer and it's working fine... gotta have Beefcake take a look at that.
I guess I came back/changed seats on a good day!!
I had been pondering writing a post about Relevant, but now I actually will have some content, if I have to write about myself ;)

I am so looking forward to our rooming together, too... but I am 40 (but my teenagers tell me I don't act like it) and I want a bed, not the pull-out sofa. ;)

Glad you were able to get the commenting to work! :) You can have one of the spots on the bed - we've got a king-sized bed and a double pull out in our room. :)
