Company Girl Coffee 9.17

We're at the end of another busy week... can you believe we're already halfway through September?!?

If you haven't been around much this week, here's what you missed on the blog:
I had the great privilege of guest posting on a few other blogs this week:
This weekend, we're celebrating David's 2nd birthday with my extended family up in Michigan. (His actual birthday is the 27th.) J and I also get to go golfing with my parents on Saturday while the kids hang out with my sister. I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

Loved the post on God's holiness. It's not something that is often taught or preached upon these days, but missing it leaves a gaping hole in our understanding of God, and exactly why He did things the way He did for our salvation.

Wow! you are one busy woman! I am amazed at all you do. God's Sovereignty is my favorite. WHY? Because as I know Him better He gets bigger! It is amazing at what a small box I put Him into. Thanks for sharing!

I just went and read the post about praying for husbands. I feel like I kind of "spot-pray" for him -- it's not a routine. Thanks for the resources.

We had a great time w/ family this weekend, and David loved all his gifts! Now I have to sort through them and pack the ones we won't be needing/using til our move in a week or so.

Hope you had a GREAT weekend!

Glad to help! I find that when I stray away from a "routine", I get very "spotty" in my praying. I like to have a guide that helps me to stay focused!

This was my third (I think) time playing this year. We're hoping to get memberships at a local course next year. It's one of our favorite "together minus the kids" activities!
