Top 10 Things I Need to Submit to God

I was so encouraged by your comments on yesterday's post about running from submission. You all blessed me so much with your willingness to share the areas of your life that you need to submit to God, that I wanted to share the (current) areas in my life that I need to submit to God daily (these came from my quiet time over the past few days).

1. My Will - I'm stubborn and prideful. I want my will to reflect God's will.
2. My Time - I've been "wasting" too much time lately. I need to submit my time to God, letting Him guide me throughout the day.
3. Finances - We've got a lot of things going on in our life right now. I need to submit our finances to God, knowing that He will provide.
4. House details - I find myself stressing about the details rather than trusting God to work them out. He's worked out every detail so far, above and beyond our every expectation.
5. School for Jenny - I need to start working on the details for our homeschool journey this year, as well as make a decision about where she is going to go to school next year. I need to submit this to God, letting Him guide me.
6. My wants and desires - I need to trust God to fulfill my needs. I want to want and desire what He wants and desires.
7. My goals and plans for the future - I have a lot of big dreams and hopes for the future, including goals I've set for myself. I need to submit these to God, seeking His will and plan for my life.
8. A specific person - I am praying for a spiritual need in a life, and I need to submit that person to God daily, acknowledging that He alone can change this person's heart.
9. Relevant Conference details - I am so excited to get to go to Relevant, and God has already worked out so many of the details. I need to submit the rest of the details to His control, knowing that He has a plan in place.
10. Disciple's Cross - I have been a Disciple's Cross producer for over three years, but I just recently started trying to sell my products online. I need to submit this to God, trusting Him to guide me as I seek to add income for our family.
