"The Lord's Prayer" by R.T. Kendall
I grabbed my highlighter and plopped in my recliner on Sunday afternoon (it came in the mail on Saturday) to start gleaning truths about prayer from the insight of R.T. Kendall. It wasn't long and my book was very blue (the color of my highlighter). Soooo many great truths and revelations in this book - things I knew but hadn't applied, new truths pulled from other passages, an in-depth look at each phrase and its purpose.
I devoured the book in less than a day (with multiple interruption). It was that good. This book definitely changed the way I view the Lord's Prayer (and prayer in general), adding to some other truths that have recently altered my view of prayer as well. I can't wait to re-read it as I prepare to teach on prayer this fall!
Thanks to Bethany House Publishers for providing a copy of this book for review.

This one's on my shelf to review too. I had a couple in line ahead of it so I haven't read it yet. Looking forward to it even more now after your review!
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did and learn from it too! I'd love to
read your thoughts on it when you review it - would you send me the link to
your review? Thanks!
