Don't be a slave to circumstance...

I think often we can very easily become slaves to circumstance when we don't keep our focus on Christ and His work in our lives. When we start viewing our lives in light of circumstances, rather than in light of the cross, we can quickly get caught up in the "poor me" game, rather than having a proper appreciation for the life that we've been given because of the work of Christ on the cross.

A song has been running through my head this morning, and I feel its lyrics are appropriate to share here. When we have this proper perspective of life, our focus is on Christ, and our lives are full of joy!
