What am I called to do TODAY?

In Mark 14.8, Jesus admonishes His disciples for their poor reaction to the women who anointed His head with her expensive perfume: "She did what she could."

How many times do we focus on what we long to do, rather than doing what we're able to do in the moment?

I am definitely guilty of this.

I am often so focused on what I want to do in the future, than I neglect to do what I am called to do in the present. This is something I have had to learn to rely on the Holy Spirit to lead me in - responding to His promptings as to what He would have me do now versus focusing all my energy and attention on a potential future.
