Making do with what I have

I love being creative.  I love thinking of creative ways to do tasks that need to be done when I don't have "the necessary items" to get them done.

Yesterday, I had a few items that I wanted to hang outside - one for the sun to strip and the other to dry w/o using the dryer all day.  Only problem is - we don't have a clothesline or a convenient spot to hang one.

No problem - I got creative with what we do have - a deck railing!

I drapped Jenny's mattress protector over the railing to strip it of the urine stains and smell, then used clothespins to secure it to itself through the openings.  Then I took a pair of our "dusting" socks and some clothespins and hung a pillow I'd washed out to dry.

And of course, what's a sunny day without letting the plants have some sun too! (These are my tomatoes, broccoli, and cauliflower starts.)
