Links to Live By... Has Been Cancelled

...at least for this week.

I feel like I've been playing "catch up" all week this week.  Might have something to do with the fact that I was away from a computer from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon last weekend.

My birthday was on Sunday, and my parents were trying to figure out when they could come down and celebrate with me over the weekend, but they are WAY too busy for their own good, and couldn't find a time that would allow us to really spend any quality time together.  Since I was "freed" from my Sunday morning responsibilities at church, I decided to take the kids north for the weekend and spend the weekend with my family.  (J was on-call all weekend and had to work on Sunday, so he stayed home.)

Can I just say that I love spending time with my family and my friends at my home church?  You all are the best!

Not having Sunday "off" to relax, and then not getting home til lunchtime on Monday, my internal clock has been a bit off this week.  I'm still not sure what day it is!  Since I was still playing "catch up" on Wednesday, I opted to forgo our weekly trip to town to try to tackle some stuff on my to-do list from Tuesday.  Since my normal Wednesday routine was off, I forgot to start reading for next week (normally done on Wednesday afternoon while the kids are napping)!

Last night, I attended a Pampered Chef party, so there was yet another abnormality in my weekly schedule (but I'm definitely not complaining that I got to have an evening without kids)!

One of my best friends is coming for a visit this afternoon, throwing another (welcomed) intrusion into my weekly routine.  I can't wait to meet her son (he was born at the beginning of February) and to see her again!

Hopefully I can regroup on Saturday because next week has a bunch more curveballs heading my way. We start the 60/60 challenge on Sunday, and then next weekend is Easter weekend, which means more traveling to be with family.

What abnormalities did you experience in your normal weekly routine this past week?
