"A Mom's Ultimate Book of Lists" by Michelle LaRowe

Mom's Ultimate Book of Lists, A: 100+ Lists to Save You Time, Money, and SanityWhen I was expecting, and then again after I gave birth, I was given books from the "What to Expect..." series.  These books were thorough resources for each of those specific stages of motherhood.

Michelle LaRowe has put together a book that will encompass more than just a single stage of motherhood - it addresses needs from pre-natal through preschool, all in one book.  While it's not as thorough as the "What to Expect" books, it helps moms to focus on what they really need to know.  LaRowe, an experienced nanny and mother, has put together lists for moms that cover the following and more:

* Things You Think You Need - But Don't
* Interview Questions for Childcare Providers
* Sizing Charts for Common Clothing Brands
* Recommended Sleep and Feeding Schedules
* When to Call the Doctor (my personal favorite)

Even a seasoned mom can benefit from this book.  While it may not be a "sit down and read cover to cover" book (in fact, I'd highly recommend that you don't), it's a good book to have on your bookshelf for those times you have a question about motherhood.

Thanks to Revell, a division of Baker Publishing House, for providing a copy of this book for review.
