Is it Wednesday already?!?!

I can't believe the week's almost over - literally, since our "weekend" starts on Thursdays again! (Although, since J has been on vacation all week, with the exception of today, I guess our "normal" schedule will technically start back up on Monday - since he's taking Sunday off, too.)

Tomorrow, we re-pack our bags and head to Michigan for another weekend. This one should be slightly less involved as far as the packing goes, though. We're headed to J's parents house tomorrow night to celebrate his mom's birthday with them.

Then Friday, I'm hoping to catch up with Heather (maybe??) before heading to BC to celebrate my mom's birthday that night.

Saturday, J is golfing with my dad and a bunch of guys from my parent's church (my home church) while the kids and I drive to IN (that's right - drive to MI, just to visit IN while we're there!) to watch my sister play tennis at Huntington University.

Saturday night (probably around halftime of the Michigan/Notre Dame game - we live/eat/breathe Michigan football around our house), J and I have reservations for a jacuzzi/king-sized bed room at a hotel in Marshall. We're planning to leave the kiddos with my parents for the night. We'll probably hit up Red Lobster in BC and maybe a movie(??) before enjoying a night away!

Sunday, we'll rejoin my family at church, followed by a birthday dinner for my mom and aunt at Lone Star with my extended family. Then, we'll reload our kids and stuff at my parents' house and head home for IN.

Monday starts school!! Tuesday starts story time at the library!! Wednesday starts Cubbies (for Jenny) and Bible study (I'm teaching - ahhh!!!) at church!!

It's going to be a CRAZY busy month for us!! Especially since Little Man turns ONE YEAR OLD on the 27th!! Throw in a birthday party for him, Kids' Market on the 14th, a scrapbooking party on the 14th, David's 1 year check-up at the end of the month, a stack of books needing to be read and reviewed, and my new job (which I'm loving, btw) on top of everything else, and I'm going to need all the Supernatural Strength I can get! Thankfully, I know the Source!!

I spent an hour or so this morning reading the first part of Colossians (the focus of the Bible study I'll be teaching this Fall) and starting to go over the text. I am SO excited about the reminder that Christ is ENOUGH!! We're using Warren Wiersbe's "Be Complete" as our study guide, and I love the emphasis on our completeness in Christ. Nothing else can be added to make us any more complete. He is the Source of Life and the Sustainer of Life!! I LOVE it!!! This study is going to be HUGE in my life this Fall - especially in all the busyness - a constant reminder that HE is ALL I need & that I NEED Him!!

So this post was literally ALL over the place, but that's where my brain is. I could probably keep writing for hours on end right now (partially in thanks to my Excedrin and Ghirardelli I just consumed), but I don't really want to put you through all of that. So, I think I'm going to grab one of the books I need to read for next week and hit the couch.
