"Fools Rush In", by Janice Thompson

You will roll on the floor laughing. Or at least laugh out loud. This book is HILARIOUS!

The Rossi family is an "upper class" Italian family uprooted from Italy (older generation) and New Jersey to Galveston Island, Texas. I kept picturing "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" with all the crazy characters in the Rossi family in this book. Add to the mix the Neeley family from the heart of Texas, and you have the wildest and liveliest bunch of characters I've seen in a LONG time!

This book is a fun and easy read. Though parts of the writing were a little choppy, the story moved from page to page, and I didn't want to put it down. Challenge after crazy challenge pops up in this cute story, and it was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud.

Bella Rossi has recently been handed over the family's wedding planning business. However, she decides to kick things up a notch and turns the wedding planning business into a destination themed wedding locale. Her first themed wedding is a Texas hoe-down, and Bella has never truly listened to a country song in her life. (Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra were the sound tracks she'd grown up on.) Finding herself in a pinch for a Deejay, she overhears a stranger mention something about a D.J. while on his cell phone. She hounds the stranger for said D.J.'s number and ends up with a handful of handsome cowboy who knows nothing about deejaying - his name is D.J. Neeley.

"Fools Rush In" will keep you laughing and will bring you back for more. This is the first book of "Weddings by Bella", a new series by Janice Thompson. Look for this book from Revell in your favorite book store or local library.

Thanks for the review, Ashley! I'm so glad you enjoyed my story! I had a blast writing it. Look for the second book in the series (Swinging on a Star) in a few months.
