Is reading worth it?

We went to the library today. Well, actually we never made it inside. We pulled in the parking lot to find ZERO parking spots (except for the handicap spots). We drove around a few times with no luck. Then, I spotted a man coming out of the library and heading for his car. I followed him. I turned my signal on to indicate to all the other cars in the lot looking for a spot to park that this was MY spot. I waited. Another car (with an angle advantage) realized that I was about to get a parking spot. The passenger pointed out to the driver that I was waiting for the spot. The guy started to back out and I started to pull forward to pull into the spot, when the OTHER CAR ALMOST HIT ME AND PULLED IN MY SPOT. The lady was LAUGHING!!! AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG!!! I remember saying some very unkind words, slamming on my horn a number of times and leaving the parking lot. One encounter with somebody like that was all I needed today.

Poor Jenny was heartbroken. All she wanted to do was get some new books. She asked me why we couldn't go to the library the whole way home. And, the rest of the week is pretty much spoken for - multiple appts both days - so we probably won't be getting to the library until sometime next week (hopefully before our books are due on Tuesday).

Maybe I'll have calmed down by then... but seriously, you would risk hitting my van just to be RUDE??
