Early in the morning...
I enjoy my early morning quietness. However, it seems like I only truly get early morning quiet a few days a week, as my kids can't decide what time to sleep until some days.
This morning, I had about a half hour of alone time before the rest of the house started to wake up. My SIL was the first up behind me (the squirrel in the attic woke her up), and it wasn't too long before we heard the kids' door open and a couple peeps from David. We sent Jenny in to wake up my brother, and tried to let J get some much deserved/needed sleep. (He worked 45+ hours this week, and then drove 13 hours to get here yesterday.) I enjoyed my quiet, but I could have used another hour or so before the kids woke up.
Q4U: What's your favorite time of the day? Do you have a few minutes of quiet to enjoy during your day most days? What do you do with your moments of quiet?

mornings.
levi has been getting up about 5:30-6 to eat every morning. mike and i normally get up around 6, so i've just been getting up. i love those couple of hours to get housework done, enjoy a cup of coffee and some quiet time to myself.... i've already been up for 3 hours today and it's not even 9 yet!
anytime I can get the quiet. :) I steal it a few minutes here and a few there. And do something I enjoy that needs to be done anyway...like water the flowers, or make bread, or hang diapers. I am learning to find enjoyment in serving my family and be creative while doing it...kinda like why women use to decorate things they needed everyday. Found art...only found creative service...does that make any sense?
